This series began with a sketchbook and paintings focused on my backyard. I thought it would be fun to extend this idea to include all that I love about my town, McKinney, Texas. From the Farmers Market to goats to front porches to crepe myrtles, I've sought to capture in colors and shapes what I love about my wonderful neighborhood.
