Welcome to ExpressiveHart!
Historically, in many cultures, creative expression was not relegated to a few "gifted" members of culture. It was the domain of all, intricately interwoven into the fabric of daily life. Creativity was experienced as an energetic life force, a river that flows through us all and connects us to something larger than ourselves.
ExpressiveHart is dedicated to creating a safe place to explore and activate this vital life energy. You need only bring your willingness to play and be wherever and whoever you are. With the expressive arts, it is not the destination that is important. The journey is the destination.
There are no mistakes, no rules, and no experience is required. An expressive arts process utilizes visual art, music, writing, movement and drama to encourage spontaneity, trust in yourself and to just be in the flow of the moment. Dare to journey to a place where untold gifts and surprises await you. There is nothing to accomplish...no place to get to...nothing to fix.
Creative expression, the ebb and flow of souls' footprints, belongs to all. Discover the exquisite wonder of the creative process:

Click here to watch a inspiring video by Matt Harding called "Dancing." It is an uplifting expression of joyful dancing across our magnificent planet.
The lyrics are an adaptation of a poem by Rabindranath Tagore:
Stream of Life
The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth and of death,
in ebb and in flow.
I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.

Let the beauty
you love be
what you do.
